This belt represents a slight departure from our standard, rugged style - it's a much more refined take on the classic belt.
This belt is made from some of the finest hides you can find in the world. The top layer uses Horween's Chromexcel #8. This red-brown pull-up leather is Horween's interpretation of the color of classic shell cordovan. Chromexcel leather can be pretty stretchy, so we back the belt with Herman Oak vegetable tanned leather to provide added strength and durability. It is finished with tonal stitching around the whole perimeter and chrome Chicago screws that allow you to swap out the solid brass buckle.
We pay special attention to the finish as we do on all our products. The raw edge displays the craftsmanship of combining two leathers with a crisp cut from the chrome-plated solid brass buckle down to the traditional English point.
If you look around, belts of this quality and design are typically $120 to $170. If we had to sell at retail and guess which style you wanted, we would be stuck doing the same. Fortunately we’re not, and that means you get a top quality product for a wonderful price.
