Our first double black selvedge from Italy returns. As you can plainly see, this 14 ounce jet black selvedge is a perfect alternative to your traditional blue denim.

Gustin jeans made from sanforized raw selvedge denim from one of the finest mills in Italy. This style uses a jet black warp woven with an equally dark black weft. The result is a highly saturated black fabric when raw. It’s only as the fabric wears in that you begin to see white showing through. It’s a dense 14.0 ounce selvedge, and has a much more crispy feel when raw than many Italian selvedges we've used before -- all good wear-in features. To keep the dark look going we’re sewing these up with tonal thread. We love the extra saturated look when raw which gives this style a nice formal touch.
