Each one of the six Gustin team members uses a backpack every day, and we all weighed in to come up with the perfect bag for work or the weekend. Laptop sleeve? Check. Horween leather? Check. Zippered internal pouch? Check. YKK Hardware? Check. It's not too big - just the right size for a laptop and required accoutrements for the day.

Our backpack is made from black Cordura Ballistic 1050D fabric. We chose this fabric (originally designed for military body armor) because of it's exceptional abrasion, tear and puncture resistance. This densely woven, high-strength nylon fabric will take anything you throw at it for years and years to come.

We went all out with the trims too. The zipper is the highest quality - YKK #10 in matching anodized black. The shoulder straps use double 2" seatbelt webbing with felt between them for padding. We use anodized black metal d-rings and adjustable sliders on the shoulder straps. Black CXL leather from the Horween Leather Company in Chicago, IL is used for the leather accents. All of these details add up to make this the highest quality understated backpack you can buy.
