Japan is hands down the master of creating vintage workwear fabric. Chambray is an icon and one of our partner mills sent us their latest creation in the form of a true beast. At 14 ounces, this is one of the heaviest chambrays we've seen. Big starch adds to the vintage ruggedness. In pant form, it takes on a truly bomb proof feel. You'll have to earn this one. The rest of the package honors the original form of chambray. A true indigo with the slightest purple cast is crossed with crisp white. That combination nicely showcases the intense slub and grain in the fabric surface. This is a vintage fabric with real heft that transports you back in time in all the best ways.
