Hard wearing duck canvas dialed up with super heavy weight, refined with rich color and treated to our 5 Pocket styling for a timeless look. From indigo dye to a military inspired earth tones, these pants start our superbly and just get better with time. These are the Japan Monster Duck 5 Pockets.
Note: We recommend sizing up one size due to the weight of this fabric.
We recently turned to Japan to see what it was creating in the world of big weight duck canvas. We were not disappointed. What makes these styles truly special is the stellar start with an even better finish. Each begins with a duck canvas base, a classic utilitarian fabric. It's dense and built to last. These versions use big weight slubby yarn to yield a 15oz weight. Wearing them reveals their true ruggedness. You feel protected. Next comes color. This is always a standout area for Japan. This version is in a vintage military inspired olive drab. Finally, seeing the wear-in shots confirms the absolutely beautiful patina these fabrics take on with use - a soft, almost oxidized look. It's hard to find a better raw selvedge alternative than this duck canvas from Japan.

"About a year ago, a coworker introduced me to Gustin (he rocks some of your pants to the office on the regular) and I have been watching the releases ever since. About three months ago, I finally backed a campaign. Since then, I have been so happy with all the pieces I have received."
