Shosenshi refers to the ancient tradition in Japan of creating yarn from paper. It's a process that predates cotton and hemp. Pulp from plants instead of wood is harvested and sheeted. It's then cut into fine slits which are ultimately twisted into paper yarn. This type of yarn is prized for its durability, breathability, and ease of care.
