Our latest vintage inspired military fabric from Japan is here. Inspired by a staple military use style, these are the Military Sateen 5 Pockets.
Much of the fabric we built GUSTIN on is based in utility. Workwear is our core and our favorite styles are rooted in history. There is a rugged, authentic character in historical fabrics that transports you back in time. That's why we're love this one particular mill in Japan. Vintage fabrics inspire everything they make today. This one is a real beauty. It's a military grade sateen. Picture a pliable, dense, soft piece of leather and that's what this fabric approaches. Sateen is very tightly woven and has an unusually smooth surface. It's a unique feel that balances, rugged and refined. The 12 ounce weight and tightness let you know this is built to last The quality and smooth texture means you actually enjoy it everyday. It's fabric with real history and character.
