Indigo dyed to perfection and made right in the USA, this is a fresh twist on the classic sweatshirt -- the Indigo Dye Shawl Collars. We've taken heavy French terry, applied our favorite dye (true indigo), and dialed it up with a fresh cut. The value of each is huge.
The star of this show is clear - indigo dye. You simply can't get colors this beautifully rich using any other type of dye. Outside of denim, indigo dyed fabric is rare. We've found the rarest to be knits, which is why it took us years to find this style. We're offering three stages of the wear-in lifecycle to make it even more fun. This version is an impossibly deep, inky dark indigo. With time, it will evolve and age like your best pair of raw denim. The color will soften around the hems first as it takes on a wear pattern unique to you.
The finishing touch is taking our dialed in sweatshirt fit and giving it a fresh, slightly more refined look with a shawl collar.
Indigo dyed pieces are designed to fade with wear. Expect some color transfer in initial wash and wear. Please see our care guide for more information.

"The indigo is truly rich and deep and very beautiful. I can see it breaking in like an old pair of jeans. The material is very soft and luxurious as well, I’ve been wearing it around the house and it is extremely comfortable.. As for the fit, I vacillated between medium and large and ended up deciding on large. I’m very glad I did. It fits me perfectly and a medium would’ve been much too small. That said the website measurements had me leaning towards a medium. I am 6 foot tall, 180 pounds. I have a slim build and wider shoulders. Large is perfect for me. I also recently purchased a large classic cone denim shirt. It also fits perfectly."
