Japan has taken on the classic nautical stripe and dialed it way up. Our latest specialty knit from Japan uses old school 16 singles jersey to lend a retro heavy-tee feel to this iconic stripe pattern. The color combinations impeccable and varied. We transform this fabric in the USA into the perfect T-Shirt. The Japan Monster Nautical Stripe T-Shirts.
The nautical stripe has fully transcended its navy roots to become a casual wear staple. The contrasting stripe stands out and remains fresh. Today it gets enhanced with monster jersey. 16 singles is the big stuff. The retro style beefy tee stuff. This jersey is thick, certainly the heaviest we've run. Japan has used high quality yarn to ensure it also remains supple. The combination of big weight soft feel is what really makes it special. It feel tough and built to last while also easy to wear. Your hardest decision today will be choosing a color from the great range on offer. From classic navy white to more unusual combinations.
Construction details are classic and sturdy. We start with double stitch binding collar around the neck. Double needle hems finish the sleeves and bottom and a slightly narrower gauge is used to lend a small element of refinement. The fit strikes the ideal balance of tailored without being tight.
Please note this garment is dyed in small batches. Color variations are to be expected and can vary in tone or hue from batch to batch.

"I wanted to tell you how much I love the rainbow nep natural t-shirts. After over a year of trying to find my everyday t-shirt, this is finally it. I have four of them now and they are basically all I wear."
