You know you have the perfect hoodie when you literally want to live in it. That was our goal with the Gustin Hoodie and we’re excited to present it to you today. Flat locked seams, thick-ribbed waist and cuffs, YKK zipper, three piece hood construction and ribbed side panel - this is a top quality, USA made garment at an absolutely radical value.
This Gustin Full-Zip Hoodie is made from loop-back French Terry milled in Los Angeles. By now you know we like going all-American on product launches and our hoodie is no exception. Our goal was to start with the perfect everyday wear fabric. At 10 ounces, this style is great for layering during winter or thrown over a T-shirt on a cool summer evening. It's remarkably soft because we garment wash each sweatshirt. The top surface of the fabric is luxurious and smooth while the long looped bottom surface feels amazing when on. Finally, picking the right shade is a must. We keep it classic with traditional heather grey, black and navy. These are the colors that come to mind when you think vintage sweatshirt.
The most obvious difference between our hoodie and others is the fit. We set out to strike the right balance between a tailored fit and an easy to wear piece. The shoulders are fitted, which keeps the overall look clean. The body is slightly tapered, but roomy enough so that it's superbly comfortable. Double paneled sides offer flexibility and ventilation. The split pockets lay flush against body so that there is no billowing. Finally, the length hits just right so it falls below the waist line, but does not cover your entire backside.
Construction details are classic and sturdy. Heavy gauge flatlock stitching along the sleeves, cuffs, split pockets and body creates an extremely comfortable and durable seam. The three panel hood is constructed of body and rib. The end result is robust hood that provides warmth and comfort. The hood’s drawstrings and zipper tape are dyed to match the color of the sweatshirt. The zip closure is held together with an antique nickel YKK zipper. Rib material joins the back of the hoodie to the front creating a double side panel that offers flexibility and ventilation. Vintage 3.5" thick-ribbed cuffs and waistband contribute to the old-school appeal and supply even more durability. We poured time into getting every detail just right and delivering it to you at a superb value.
