#774 Patchwork Short Sleeve - Sunset

This is a fun one. Boldly colored plaids in a mix of designs get pieced together is small patches to form a full fabric. Classic pattern, bright colors, with the mystery of each one coming together in a way that's totally unique to your version of the shirt. This one offers a bright palette of fiery red-oranges. The base is a light 4 ounces to make it a true warm weather shirt. Sit back and enjoy a surprisingly great result.

The short sleeve button up occupies a unique spot in our warm weather attire. It has a nice balance of formality from the button up shape with the sheer comfort of short sleeves. It's the type of shirt you can wear comfortably with shorts, a faded pair of raw denim or a clean pair of khakis. The look feels right. Ours is clean and properly constructed from a perfect collar, to a bottom hem that can be worn untucked, to nicely fitted sleeves. 

Our short sleeve button-up fits just like the long sleeve. It shares the same beautifully tailored body, not too slim, but definitely fitted. High armholes keep the body lines clean. A very gently scooped bottom hem that works wonderfully un-tucked or tucked. A no-button collar that’s perfectly sized to sit well. We removed the back pleat and locker loop, adding to the minimalist and casual nature of this style.

We labor over every construction detail. Extensive single needle stitching is used throughout. All our closures are made from true mother of pearl. The front placket is also pleated, made the right way, using a true two piece construction. The feel is more substantial and the effort higher, but it's the right way. An angular chest pocket completes the front.
