A soft, crisp and lightweight poplin with a small diamond jacquard pattern. This is the perfect summer weight shirt for all occasions.
Jacquards add a level of texture to shirting that gives them a wonderful depth you don't often see. The key to us is finding styles where the weave is subtle enough to add richness without being over the top. Coming in at a 3oz weight, this poplin lends enough body to make it feel durable, yet airy. The small diamond pattern woven into the fabric is where things get truly stunning. The pattern is small and tight enough to create a wonderful visual texture while remaining subtle. The color combination is spot on. An indigo blue base with white outlining each diamond complement each other perfectly. Dress it up or dress it down, this shirt is a wonderful addition to your wardrobe.
Our short sleeve button-up fits just like the long sleeve. It shares the same beautifully tailored body, not too slim, but definitely fitted. High armholes keep the body lines clean. A very gently scooped bottom hem that works wonderfully un-tucked or tucked. A no-button collar that’s perfectly sized to sit well. We removed the back pleat and locker loop, adding to the minimalist and casual nature of this style.
We labor over every construction detail. Extensive single needle stitching is used throughout. All our closures are made from true mother of pearl. The front placket is also pleated, made the right way, using a true two piece construction. The feel is more substantial and the effort higher, but it's the right way. An angular chest pocket completes the front.
