16 ounces of super saturated black denim from Japan with an unusual and beautiful coal weft. This is a serious, burly selvedge for those seeking a stellar indigo alternative.
Our black-black selvedge has been quite popular. This time we decided to take it up a notch. This version is extra dense at 16oz and is sure to take as much abuse as you can dish out. It's highly starched for an extra crisp hand, which should make for great creasing and wear-in. You can also detect nice slubiness in the weft yarn. It uses a jet black warp woven with a dark charcoal weft. It's finished with a thin black ID. If you're after truly rugged, authentic selvedge in black, this is the one to wear.
