Our first velvet style had to be a stunner. This one delivers by capturing the best of velvet's unique properties while adding two additions to make it even better. It's destined to be one of your most special pants and we're making the value hard to ignore. We call it the Japan Indigo Velvet.
You might not think of workwear when you think of velvet, but this style certainly changed our perspective in very good ways. Velvet is a unique cut, short pile fabric construction that results in great qualities. It's always been prized for its soft, luxurious hand. You certainly get that here, but this version is a bit thicker and denser, feeling more like an ultra-soft suede. The smooth nap is present, but this version has a matte finish which we prefer over some of the higher shine versions of velvet. With the luxury stage set, next come inky indigo dyed yarns. Vivid and bright, you get to age this pair of pants beautifully to make it unique to you. The finishing touch is a unique vertical channel that creates a subtle, tonal pinstripe. It's the perfect way to break up the solid sea of indigo and add a touch of formality.
Note: We recommend sizing up one from your usual Gustin size.

"This salt & pepper plaid shirt is **** awesome. Fit, feel, and look are amazing! Best looking shirt I own. My wife gave me “the eye” when I walked into the kitchen wearing it. Thanks for making it!"

"About a year ago, a coworker introduced me to Gustin (he rocks some of your pants to the office on the regular) and I have been watching the releases ever since. About three months ago, I finally backed a campaign. Since then, I have been so happy with all the pieces I have received."
