A stellar selvedge first showcases one of the most unusually beautiful colors backed up with all the right raw denim details. This is the new Vintage Army Selvedge.
Note: We recommend sizing up one from your usual Gustin size.
To us, the gorgeous deep color on this selvedge is clearly the star, but you need a great foundation to showcase the color and you get that too. Slubby warp yarns bring out a slight vertical grain. It's not overbearing, just a tight, organic texture that lets you know this is no ordinary raw denim. The 12.5 ounce weight and lightly starched finish create a sturdy but wearable sweet spot. All this is just a great setup for the color. It is one of those earthy tones that can change in the light you're in. The dominant aspect is a rich, vintage army. Hints of brown creep in to give it an oxidized tinge. We've run nothing like this before. The final detail to cap off the great color is a big, gold selvedge ID. Don't miss this one.

"Very nice, heavily starched fabric with some stretch and good crease retention. I was not sure what the color was going to turn out to be but it definitely is more brown than green. There’s a color called Loden, this is probably the most accurate description. There’s fit on these is slimmer than standard Gustin denim with similar weight. I’d recommend a size up. This pair immediately went into my standard rotation."

"I purchased a 36 slim (typically wear 34 in other jeans) and they fit perfectly. I am a big fan of the slim fit with the lower rise, which tends to be more flattering on my body. I love the color, which appears brown with slight green undertones. The only thing I would change is the 36 inch length which requires me to have larger cuffs than I would normally wear, but that isn't a deal breaker."
