What immediately sets this grey selvedge apart from all the other grey styles we have offered is its unique visual texture. It takes on a heathered appearance that you rarely see in denim. It reminds us of a fine wool. The warp is a deep grey and the weft a very light grey.
The feel is all denim. There is a nice amount of starch, but the 12.5 ounce weight keeps it wearable. We treat this style to tonal grey stitching and a jet black leather patch. It's the kind of denim that can be casual like we wore it in these photos or formal when worn with a crisp blue Oxford. Of the 300+ selvedge denims we've used at Gustin, this one remains a stand-out.
