Introducing the newest addition to our leather accessories collection. Creating a simple leather wristband has been on our to-do list for a while. Like a favorite pair of jeans, it's something you can wear every day, and it just keeps getting better with time. We kept it in-line with the simple and classy Gustin aesthetic.
The double wrap wristband starts with the best materials, a Hermann Oak natural vegetable tanned leather in a very beefy 10-12oz weight. We know this leather extremely well; we use it for wallets, belts and a handful of our other accessories. It starts out very light, but will darken with time, picking up color from sun exposure, fabric bleeds and general life. We use a continuous piece of leather and hand-sew it on either end around the hardware.
The edges of the leather are hand beveled and burnished with beeswax for a clean, finished look from the get-go. We hand stamp each one with Gustin on the backside.
