Utilizing an old-school Japanese fish hook, this keychain represents the perfect marriage of brass and leather.
We start with a 100% vegetable tanned horsehide leather from Horween. These are strips cut from just above the "shell" of the horse (where shell cordovan comes from). This extremely dense leather is hefty and durable.
The hardware is a Japanese-style fish hook, forged from solid brass. It feel substantial in your hand, and can easily and safely be hooked onto a belt loop. Because of the length of the hook, it'll stay secure without the use of any moving parts (like most keychain clips). The leather portion has a post closure, allowing you to add your own key ring easily.
"My 1968s came in the mail yesterday…They're amazing! From the fit (thank you for all the hand-holding!) to the detailing, I'm blown away. Just tremendous quality at any price point, but the value here is off the charts."
