The Heavyweight Belt was the first departure from our more standard belt offerings. This time, we literally built it bigger than the last iteration. We're using the same natural veg-tanned leather that we've worked with in the past, but for these belts, we're using a heavier 13-14oz hide. The natural leather starts out light and will age to a beautiful golden brown over time. We're also cutting the belts wider than usual at 1.75 inches. This will easily be the most substantial belt you'll ever own.
We pay special attention to the finish as we do on all our products. The strap is edged and burnished with beeswax. We use a hefty roller buckle with a nickel finish, and it’s secured with two Chicago screws. Handmade in California.
Variations in color, shade, and finish are natural characteristics of handcrafted leather, making each piece truly one of a kind.
If you look around, belts of this quality and design are typically much higher. If we had to sell at retail and guess which style you wanted, we would be stuck doing the same. Fortunately, we’re not, and that means you get a top quality product for a radical price.

Seven sizes available. Measured from buckle center to middle holes of five. Measure your current belt to pick the best size, but as a "rule of thumb" typically this is 2-3 sizes up from your Gustin pant size.
