We have been using our traditional "Gustin" colors for awhile now and we felt it was time to break the mold and introduce our all black duffel. This black waxed canvas duffel is a special release. We have upgraded the hardware and leather to complete the aesthetic. This bag makes a statement.

Our duffel is made from heavy-duty, plain weave, waxed cotton canvas sourced in the USA. Although similar in construction to our Trucker jacket fabric, this canvas is much heavier. Coming in at just under 20oz, it's built to last and gives the duffel real sturdiness. Waxed canvas is beautiful from the start and ages gracefully. The waxed coating allows the fabric to age uniquely to you, and is water resistant. Each crease, each bend, each event in your life changes the texture and color. It scars and marks as the wax gets rubbed and displaced, becoming slightly lighter in those areas. It’s truly a thing of beauty.

Complementing the canvas is 9oz, black, full grain Wicket and Craig latigo leather and sturdy black hardware. You can see and feel the detail that went into this duffel.

We ensure our duffel construction is functional, tough and elegant. The overall shape of the bag is a classic tube. Each end of the bag has an open pocket for extra, easily accessible storage. On one side, you get a small carry pocket secured by a beefy #10 YKK zipper. The carry pocket is backed by another open slot pocket. Leather carry handles are formed by hand from a single piece of leather that is stitched around the duffel and secured by a box stitch for strength. Small rectangular leather feet are stitched to the bottom of the duffel. The main compartment has leather runners that flank a #10 YKK zipper. It is open for maximum storage. A leather shoulder strap is adjustable and secured by hefty metal swivel snaps and d-rings. You will love this bag.
