#109 Cerulean Broken Twill

Part of the fun of our business is the non-stop hunt for cool fabric to offer you. Sometimes it's there one day and gone the next. Over three years ago our search struck gold in the form of one of the most beautiful broken twill selvedge denims we'd ever seen. We were pleased just to have found a mill in Japan actually making this old-school weave in selvedge form. This Wrangler originated weave remains one of the rarest finds. The glowingly bright indigo shade was a refreshing change from the standard dark indigo. What put this denim absolutely over the top for us was the absolute intensity of the grainy surface. It remains different than anything we've found. The combination of slubby yarns with the broken twill weave creates a horizontal grain that brings the white weft bursting through the surface. It's complex, varied and downright beautiful. The pale pink selvedge ID is the perfect finishing touch. Today our old denim friend is back and now it can be yours.
