The first hemp blend denim we ever ran, and in our opinion still a perfect example of the type. Pure indigo, slubby, with that special hemp feel.
Note: As this fabric is a blend, we recommend sizing up one as you won't find it to stretch as a typical denim would.
This fabric is 42% Hemp, which is very unique and rare blend. Hemp is known for its durability and pure hemp is often compared to the texture of linen. You can see the hemp weft show through to the surface of the fabric in the form of scattered neps, irregularly dispersed throughout the surface. The fabric has a deep, dark indigo color. Make no mistake, this is rugged, vintage selvedge to the core. The hemp transforms the feel. It drapes nicely with a unique flowing feel while keeping that subtle fibrous texture. You know you're not wearing the average denim the second you put it on. Finishing off the fabric is a wide, bright white ID. This is one we'll make sure to have on hand for the archives.
