#233 Japan Silk Slub

Gustin jeans made from sanforized raw selvedge denim from one of the finest mills in Japan. Silk blend denim is hands-down some of the rarest selvedge you can find. When you add in an absolutely intense texture, you get a true collector denim. Let's start with texture. This denim is intensely slubby. You see this wonderful irregularity in the yarn which shows as pronounced grain lines throughout the fabric surface. In addition, this is one of the neppiest fabrics we've ever run. Beauty in irregularity is what Japan does so well. Next comes the silk blend. Very few mills do it as the yarn is super expensive and difficult to obtain. The silk enhances the soft feel in this fabric which is already built for comfort at 10 ounces. The overall shade is a deep indigo with a slight grey cast. All the texture really brings out the white weft and brightens up the overall appearance. A classic red ID finishes it off. If you want a truly rare fabric, this is it.
