Raw denim doesn't need to be painful and here is the proof from Cone Mills. This classic denim is your chance to have it all: the look, the comfort and a superb value. Purists . . . don't knock it until you've tried it.
Gustin jeans made from sanforized raw selvedge denim from Cone Mills in Greensboro, NC. All cotton raw denim is our first true love. It's what we started with and what we always return to. That said, we can all admit the sense of near fear when a new, heavy pair of raw denim awaits us in the morning. Let's just say that sometimes it can be a labor of love breaking them in. That's usually when you reach for your trusty, worn in pair that's soft and perfectly molded to your body. Adding just a touch of stretch to raw denim gives you a totally new option. This fabric looks like a great, classic raw selvedge denim - deep indigo warp, crisp white weft, a bit of shine from the starch, red ID. When you put this denim on you instantly feel the difference. When you do that first deep knee bend expecting resistance, this fabric gently expands. You can move much more freely right away. You're comfortable even when the fit is a bit tighter. We must admit, it's quite refreshing. While we'll never give up on our all cotton denim, this is a very nice addition to any collection.
This is the same style and quality that was sold in boutiques all over the country for $205+.
*Note unlike most brands we don't use vanity sizing for our pants. If you're a first time customer we highly recommend checking out our fit guide.
