Today we're giving you access to another rare selvedge find from Cone Mills. It's one we've never run before. A quintessentially classic raw selvedge using rare organic cotton and a bold monster ID finish. Meet the Cone Organic Monster ID.
Note: We recommend going up one size in this fabric.
Cone's White Oak plant in Greensboro, NC was famous. Part of that mystique was that the selvedge there was woven on vintage Draper shuttle looms. These old-world looms also came with drawbacks. Keeping them running well and producing high-quality fabric was a huge challenge. As a way to ensure the selvedge line would continue as part of the Cone family, more modern selvedge looms were tested in Cone's production facility in Mexico. Now some of these styles are trickling out in deadstock form. We wanted to test them out before offering them up to you. Wearing them around confirms it's a quality, classic product. The pure indigo warp is brighter than usual. The crisp white weft lends the classic look we want in core raw denim. Making this one more special is the use of organic cotton, a rare and expensive ingredient. A 12.75 ounces you have a solid but wearable denim that's primed for great fades. Finally, the selvedge ID is massive and bold.

"I wanted to tell you how much I love the rainbow nep natural t-shirts. After over a year of trying to find my everyday t-shirt, this is finally it. I have four of them now and they are basically all I wear."
