High slub denim doesn't just come from Japan. The Cone Slub is one of our first truly slubby all-American denims. We snagged just a bit of this rare fabric so don't miss it.
Gustin jeans made from sanforized raw selvedge denim from Cone Mills in Greensboro, NC. When you combine Cone's master of classic selvedge denim with high texture yarn you get a brilliant result. We call it the Cone Slub. The classic base comes in the form of a deep indigo warp with a crisp white weft. At 12.5 ounces this denim is nicely wearable on day one. Where things get really interesting is the yarn itself. High slub yarns in both warp and weft give this denim incredible texture. You can feel it on the surface and see awesome cross-hatching. The slubby yarns also help the white weft show through the top surface to help brighten up the denim. This is American selvedge denim taken to the next level.
This is the same style and quality that was sold in boutiques all over the country for $205+.
