Our first overdyed denim from Japan, this one gets a full dip in a stunning bright indigo dye that leaves it with an inkiness that's just beautiful. Throw in a wonderfully soft fade and this highly limited run selvedge is a must have.
Gustin jeans made from raw sanforized selvedge chambray from one of the finest mills in Japan. We love firsts, particularly when it's a stunning selvedge denim like this. At it's core, a special indigo dye process makes it stand apart. First, it starts with a great base. At 11 ounces with very low starch, it's incredibly soft and wearable year-round. This is likely one of the softest raw denims we've felt, but it still has a nice density to it. The finishing touch is a full indigo overdye. The fabric is dipped in an indigo bath, which deeply colors all surface, top and back. The color in stunningly vibrant and inky blue. What's even more beautiful is how it fades. It's a soft change in shade as time goes on. Even the red ID is coated with indigo dye. This is denim done a totally different way.
