Japan has found a way to make one of our favorite workwear fabrics even better - lavish it with some of the rarest dyes for a stellar start that will only get better with wear. This is the IndigoXCharcoal Moleskin.
Note: We recommend going up one size in this fabric.
We have seen some of the most special moleskins this year. Japan is treating this classic workwear style to some of its best techniques. Today is about dye, but it starts with all the iconic moleskin construction details we love. You instantly feel the ultra-dense, leathery hand that makes moleskin a true utilitarian fabric. Hardwearing, yet supple. Built to last and to take anything you throw at it. The true star is the use of rare and just plain beautiful dye. Both warp and weft get special treatment. The warp gets a bright indigo dye. The weft is jet black from a special charcoal formulated dye. The indigo top means you get a living garment that will fade and age beautifully. Various indigo tones and fading are part of this fabric. The indigo dye bath changes with each batch. Indigo color can vary and is part of the process. The charcoal dyed back lends a subtle shadow. Cuff these if you want to reveal the full beauty of the black weft treatment.

"About a year ago, a coworker introduced me to Gustin (he rocks some of your pants to the office on the regular) and I have been watching the releases ever since. About three months ago, I finally backed a campaign. Since then, I have been so happy with all the pieces I have received."
