#404 Double Gauze Monster Sashiko

The inspiration for this style is the traditional Sashiko sewing technique. Used as a functional sewing technique for repairs and for decorative effects, Sashiko is respected for its handmade style, prominent stitching and patterning effects. Here, a Dobby weave is used to recreate the prominent stitch, which adds a prominent textural element to the surface. The truly special part is that this version joins two luxuriously soft layers of cotton gauze. The result is real weight with a sense of plushness and volume.
