This is simply everything you could ask for a in a classic raw selvedge denim. It starts with a big 16.5 ounce weight. Beefy by any standard, and the heaviest from Cone Mills. The starchy finish and serious weight makes for a pair of denim that feels old-school and rugged. The deeply saturated dark indigo shade is slightly brightened by the crisp white weft, the perfect raw denim starting point. You can also pick up nice vertical grain. As these broken in photos show, this fabric represents everything we love about great American selvedge denim. It ages to the perfect medium blue while showing great white contrast detail and grain. It's just sweet. To finish it off, this selvedge has a cool orange selvedge ID. Beefy American denim at its finest and now ultra-rare.
