We've been working with mills in Japan for over a decade now and continue to be refreshingly surprised by the new styles they present us. This one just arrive and we had to offer it to you. The inspiration for this style is the traditional Sashiko sewing technique. Used as a functional sewing technique for repairs and for decorative effects Sashiko respected for its handmade style, prominent stitching and patterning effects. This style uses a Dobby weave to recreated the prominent stitch and geometric lines and then dials up the texture to absolutely beautiful levels. Imagine the plushest cotton rope interlaced together to create a hand woven look, huge texture and flowing feel. That's what we have here. Even better is the rugged 14.5 ounce weight, giving this style true vintage appeal. Rich, saturated color completes this vintage inspired fabric.
