We took our hugely textured charcoal French Terry, dipped in an oxblood red dye and something very good happened. This is the Rust Red French Terry Hoodie.
Note: We recommend sizing up one as this fabric has little stretch.
You first saw the charcoal version of this fabric in our henleys. We were instantly drawn to the light weight lofty feel of this fabric and even more so to the wonderfully slubby heathered surface. It was a work of art. This time we've take it a step further. First, we sew it into a classic hoodie shape. It's the perfect comfort garment with all the right details from a clean fit, to the perfectly sized hood to the v-stitch detail under the neck. Then we overdye the in a deep red color and this fabric takes on a whole new life. You get this incredible play between the earthy, rusty red and the deep charcoal. It's almost like smoldering coals on a fire. The slubiness is visible throughout and there is just so much complexity of color. This is definitely on of our most uniquely beautiful colors and a huge value.
"My 1968s came in the mail yesterday…They're amazing! From the fit (thank you for all the hand-holding!) to the detailing, I'm blown away. Just tremendous quality at any price point, but the value here is off the charts."
