Best of all, the extremely fine fibers mean beautiful comfort without the itch and a flowing drape to help garments fit well. Merino wool is serves as the starting point for these shirts and it comes from arguably the finest American woolen mill, Pendleton®. This great starting point is then transformed into a vintage shirting style. The base color is a soft dusty blue. On top of this base is a classic tattersall pattern. The thin grid of dark blue and beige is the perfect complement to the base color and helps add a light contrast. These two elements lend the style it’s more casual look while their clean implementation keeps the shirt versatile. A simpler back yoke replaces the box pleat and locker loop of our Classic style. Intricate stitching tacks down the collar stand. The Rugged style inherits the same core fit block from the updated Classic style. The moment we sewed up some flannels and heavy jacquards in this style we knew it was right.
