#651 Electric Flannel

Some of our favorite shirts manage to blend seemingly opposing traits into a coherent whole. The Electric Flannel is a great example. It starts with bold, bright colors. Blues and greens glow with vibrancy, creating a shirt that serves as a great counterpoint to raw denim. The classic plaid pattern brings in a vintage vibe. Similarly, the solid 6 ounce weight is treated to a very loose weave and heavily brushed finish lending a true sense of comfort. Fun color in a comfortable package.

We also took this opportunity to make two key upgrades to the details while preserving the classic style we all love. The first is button placement on the placket. Most people are wearing these shirts without ties and now opening that top button leaves the ideal shape. Second is a gently rounded chest pocket shape to provide a softer, more organic look. Of course, we’ve kept all the intricate construction details from the single needle work to locker loop to box pleat.
