The moment we received this fabric from one of our partner mills in Japan we knew it was special. Getting the finished samples in hand confirmed just how great this fabric really is. It combines elements we have never seen joined to create a wearing experience that's surprisingly great. On the surface, this selvedge appears like a classic, dark indigo white weft staple. It's everything you want in authentic selvedge denim. It never goes out of style. The moment you touch these pants you know something different is going on. They yield like an extra plush sweatshirt. They are on the lighter side at 10 ounces, but there is a thick sense of volume to the hand. A glance at the backside of the fabric reveals the unique construction - a high volume, loopback, inspired by French Terry. The texture is amazing, and the feel against the skin is luxurious. The movement in this fabric rivals our 4-way stretch styles, making it even easier to love. There could be no better finishing touch than finding a fabric like this in selvedge form. "This is just a terrific pair of jeans. The selvedge is light and very, very comfortable, and the terry lining makes them that much more easy to wear.
Gustin is serious in its sizing advice. I usually wear a 32" waste and upon measuring, it's closer to 33-34. In this case I ordered the 34 and they were perfect.
Depending on your height, you may been to have the jeans shortened. a pair with a 34" waste comes with a 36" inseam.
These are just great jeans and at incredibly reasonable prices."
