#210 Pure Blue 13

Sometimes we like to make it impossible to pass on a pair of denim. The Pure Blue 13 is a prime example. Selvedge at this price point puts you in an intensely classic, indigo denim from Japan. It's a go-to pair at a crazy value.

Gustin jeans made from sanforized raw selvedge denim from one of the finest mills in Japan. As you might imagine, we have lots of denim in our closets. It's hard not to if you work here. But there is always a certain kind of pair of that makes its way to the top of our personal piles. It's usually classic: dark indigo, white weft, solid weight, starchy enough to get nice creases without being over bearing. It's the kind of denim that just looks great on, pairs well with everything and will be with you for years. This is what drew us the Pure Blue 13. It has a deep navy warp with a lot of brightness from the white weft. The surface is just a touch fuzzy, giving it a slightly more vintage look. It's densely woven and has a subtle crisp feel when raw. The red selvedge ID tops it off. This is what great raw denim from Japan is all about.
