#75 Okayama Standard

"These are a lovely pair of jeans! I love the look, feel and texture of this pair of selvedge denim. I'm not sure how well they will hold up, or what the fading process will look like in a year, but I'm very happy with my purchase. After following the size guide and having my wife measure my waist I was pretty confident that a 34 skinny would be the right size. They ended up being a bit too tight in the top block and calves. In the past I would have settled for this knowing that the jeans would eventually loosen up. However my approach to selvedge denim has changed after months of reading reddit posts and watching youtube videos. After a few returns I finally settled on a 35 skinny which is about 2-3 sizes above what I would wear with other non selvedge brands (Levis, Boulder Denim, etc). The Gustin CS team have been an absolute pleasure to work with! Eric helped me navigate the return process with ease and I would happily order from Gustin again."

"They arrive stiff as a board. Thick luscious denim. They will need a couple of months to break in. So In a couple of years I’ll be able to let you know how much I like the. My last pair( similiar denim ) are v worn and faded nicely down. But still retain the weight and have another 10 years in them. Expect these will be likewise. Excellent value. Most jeans that I bought (prior to Gustin)lasted a year."

"I was impressed with the thickness and sturdy feel of the denim. The break-in period is real, be ready for that. Mine are still loosening up and becoming more supple. Also go one or two inches above the waist size you wear in most pants. Good looking jeans, and I have gotten several compliments on them already. Would buy more, and have. GR"
