Introducing the Horween Stitched Belt. We've brought many of our favorite elements together in this new belt. This belt uses Horween natural veg-tanned leather base layer, with a Chromexcel #8 leather top layer to make it beefy, yet refined. The two layers are stitched together with a thick, tonal nylon thread. Once the two layers are stitched, we bevel and burnish the edges to give a very hand-made feel to the belt. Lastly, we add a solid brass buckle and rivet it down.
This belt is crafted from full grain steer hide made by the Horween Leather Company in Chicago. Horween's Chromexcel is famous and Color #8 even more so. Like Horween’s Dublin line, Chromexcel has tremendous base shade and pull up. The difference with #8 is in its dark burgundy color. Its deep base results in a much more subtle beauty. We're pairing this beautiful leather with a solid brass buckle.
We pay special attention to the finish as we do on all our products. The edges are beveled and edged, and the belt is finished with a traditional English point. The belt is riveted, and is stamped with a Gustin logo on the backside.
