The six slot bifold is the big brother to our classic bifold. It has six interior slots and two hidden card pockets. It's for the gentleman who needs to carry more cards and more cash. As always, it uses the highest quality leather and construction, and is made 100% in the USA.
For the leather, we went to The Horween Leather Company in Chicago. They have been in the leather game since 1905, and have developed some of the most durable and beautiful leathers on the market (from Shell Cordovan to the leather used for NFL footballs). For these wallets, we selected their Essex line. Essex is the result of an experiment where Horween asked themselves - “what if we take a top quality cowhide and tan it with the same liquor we use to tan shell cordovan?". The result is a beautiful, durable leather that has particularly rich coloring. We're using their natural color for this run - it will age beautifully with time - picking up color from your jeans.
These wallets usually sell in stores above $200. If we had to sell at retail and guess which style you wanted, we would be stuck doing the same. Fortunately we’re not, and that means you get a top quality product for a radical price.
Made by hand in the United States.
