We've been producing our popular totes for quite some time and with the recent closure of the Cone Mills White Oak Plant, we wanted to use some of our remaining supply to produce a limited run of bags that we know will last for years to come. The Cone selvedge denim is the real star of this bag. We're using a classic 14oz sanforized indigo denim and feature the denim's selvedge ID inside and out.

The design is clean and functional. You can use it as a work bag with your laptop, as a carry-all on a run to the farmers market or as a quick weekend getaway bag. The main body is open, for super easy access. The interior is spacious with a single selvedge pocket large enough to secure your laptop and the internal pocket organizer allows you to organize your pens, small tablets and business cards. On the exterior of the bag are 5 pockets, perfect for storing a notebook, wallet or newspaper.

The leather straps used on this tote come from the Horween Leather Company in Chicago, Illinois. For this run, we're using a 7-8oz Horween veg tan horsehide leather instead of the latigo leather we typically use in our waxed canvas totes. The horeshide allows us to use a thinner strap which does not weigh down the totes form, but still provides the strength and rigidity you would find in a much thicker leather. The straps are secured with copper rivets and though the color starts off as a light tan, over time, the straps will produce a patina transforming them into a beautiful golden brown.

Note: The denim is raw so be cautious of indigo transfer.

Care: Hand wash and air dry. The leather will pick up a bit of indigo in the washing process much like you would find on the leather patch of your jeans. Condition the leather as needed.

What Customers Are Saying
"Just wanted to thank you for the jeans. I had high hopes and yet these exceed my expectations! I love the fabric, and I love the fit and construction. Nice, nice work."
-Jeffrey S. | Verified Buyer
"I really love Gustin. I just don't think I'd choose another brand at any price point. And I love watching for new products/return of old favs. But a very important part of the experience is the great customer service."
-Keith P. | Verified Buyer
"My 1968s came in the mail yesterday…They're amazing! From the fit (thank you for all the hand-holding!) to the detailing, I'm blown away. Just tremendous quality at any price point, but the value here is off the charts."
-Scott S. | Verified Buyer
