Back and better than ever: our all-American Chino Shorts. When it’s so hot out that you must part with your selvedge denim, the best alternative is the perfect pair of chino shorts. This year we are starting out with a new lusciously soft twill, fresh colors, an updated fit and all right construction details. We’re proud to hand craft these in the USA at a value that’s unmatched.
These Gustin Chino Shorts are made from cotton twill from one of the finest mills in the USA. Chino shorts need to look great and feel great. We went all out on both by finding a new, super fine twill woven in the USA. The wale is very small and the weave incredibly tight. The end result is a smooth and amazingly soft fabric. The surface gets a very gentle sanding to make it even more luxurious to the touch. The 5 ounce weight is perfect for warm weather and we garment wash each pair which further enhances the feel and gives them more life. This one is dyed to a bright light khaki. Overall, this is just the perfect twill for shorts and you'll feel that the moment you put them on.
We spent a lot of time perfecting construction details and updated our fit. They are still nicely tailored, but a bit more relaxed. An inseam at 7.5” provides a middle ground on length. Construction is done the right way throughout: full two piece waistband, two welt back pockets (one with a flap closure to keep things secure), taped seams, YKK zip fly, double hook closure and our custom Corozo button.
