Sometimes we see a fabric that just stops us dead in our tracks. The Japan Sea Green did just that and we think you can see why in these photos. The color is arrestingly beautiful and unusual. This is a Japanese denim like no other.
As a company that has run well over 300 types of selvedge denim, its pretty exciting to see a style totally different than anything we've offered before. The color is the true standout in this selvedge denim. The warp is a light indigo, the weft white. What's unusual is that the weft shows through as prominently as the warp on the top surface. They play together perfectly to create a blue-green cast that reminds us of the subtle shades you can only find looking into the ocean. It's varied and bright and like nothing else you'll have in your denim collection. At 10 ounces, with light starch, it's wearable on day one. A wide, white ID finishes it off. This is the type of denim that keeps us in love with this incredible fabric.
