As far as firsts go, this is certainly one of our sweetest. A ruggedly saturated indigo selvedge with big weight that phenomenally wearable. This is the new Double Indigo Stretch.
We are huge fans of indigoxindigo selvedge denim. First, this style simply has more of what we love most, indigo dye. Both warp and weft are a deeply saturated blue. The result is a dark and nicely formal pair of denim. This version has a very solid 12oz weight and the larger yarns give this style a very prominent twill line and touch of ruggedness. It would be one of our favorite double indigo versions if it stopped there, but it doesn't. Layer in a just a touch of stretch and what looks like a starchy, rigid denim is actually a joy to wear. There's something about the surprise of putting on a classic raw denim that's wearable right away that never fails to delight us.
