#400 Hemp Superlight

When we're scouting for more unusual styles of selvedge denim we look for fabric that does something impressive and new. We found all of that in the Hemp Superlight. It starts with one of the highest hemp compositions we've run. Hemp is prized for high strength, breathability and its ability to age well in time. These are all characteristics you'll enjoy as you break-in this style. However, the hemp also imparts a truly unique look and feel to this denim right on day one. You instantly notice a linen-like feel and a beautifully fibrous texture on the surface. Next comes a very unusual color. The warp is an incredibly dark indigo with grey undertones. It lends an almost blue-charcoal finish to the surface that will get lighter over time. A highly wearable 10 ounce weight enhances the natural comfort of the hemp and a very cool red and white selvedge ID finishes off this rare denim.
