Earthy and bright, this denim from Japan pushes the boundaries of what selvedge denim can be.
Color is the true star of this rare selvedge denim. Don't get us wrong, we love indigo dye, but we're equally impressed by great alternatives. Brown denim is rare and we have yet to find a version this sweet. The warp is a beautiful sandy brown. It's earthy and rich, but has a nice liveliness to it as well. A crisp white weft keeps the classic denim look. It's the combination of the classic selvedge look in a color that gives it a trouser like appearance that truly makes this fabric. A lighter 11 ounce weight and a touch of stretch makes the comfort superb right on day one. A prominent orange selvedge ID adds a nice touch.
