One of our favorite mills in Japan has used warp and weft colors to create a completely new look while retaining a fundamentally rugged personality. The start is a solid 12 ounce denim base that gets nicely starched. It feels tough and raw. Warp and weft are the true stars. The warp is white, the weft olive. The combination is really what makes this style. The bright white gets a toned down by a subtle olive shadow that seems to float beneath it. It takes on an almost eggshell cream color on the surface. Just plain different than anything we've seen and we can't wait to put some serious wear into this one to see how it evolves. Get started on yours.
