A vintage military inspired fabric in a rare selvedge composition - these are the new Selvedge Military Sateens. Woven in Japan, sewn in the USA, offered at GUSTIN values.
Japan has mastered the art of taking historic American fabric icons and elevating them to the highest level. They do it with selvedge denim consistently. Sometimes we find special developments outside the denim world that are equally impressive. Today we have a vintage military fabric. The sateen was used widely to create rugged, yet wearable military pants and shirts. It's has one of the tightest weaves we've ever seen, creating a uniquely smooth and tough fabric. True to its origins, this style is a bit crispy and tough, with a nice throw-back feel. It's the kind of fabric that makes you earn your break-in but rewards you with a fit that truly conforms to your body. A lighter 8 ounce weight is a good counter balance to keep the style wearable. The fact that this version is selvedge makes it a truly special option. This version is crisp, jet black bright khaki. An iconic fabric made with the highest level of care.

"About a year ago, a coworker introduced me to Gustin (he rocks some of your pants to the office on the regular) and I have been watching the releases ever since. About three months ago, I finally backed a campaign. Since then, I have been so happy with all the pieces I have received."
