Aside from selvedge denim, the vintage Hickory Stripe is one of the most iconic workwear styles. Used as a uniform staple, it was built to last and be worn hard. Japan has mastered the art of creating authentic reproductions; in this case, they have dialed in every detail. The rarity starts with the selvedge composition with classic red ID. This version has a dominant white stripe that is slightly wider than the indigo stripe companion. Even better, it uses real indigo dye so it will age beautifully as you wear them. Fittingly, this version is a solid 11 ounces with a nice amount of starch. You feel like you've stepped back in time to when garments were built to last and be used daily. This is just superior quality, iconic workwear fabric.
