We've taken heavy french terry, applied our favorite dye (true indigo), dialed it up with a fresh cut and rendered it in three stages of wear-in, from dark to vintage to sun fade. The star of this show is clear - indigo dye. You simply can't get colors this beautifully rich using any other type of dye. Outside of denim, indigo dyed fabric is rare. We've found the rarest to be knits, which is why it took us years to find this style. We're offering three stages of the wear-in lifecycle to make it even more fun. One version is an impossibly deep, inky dark indigo. With time, it will evolve and age like your best pair of raw denim. The color will soften around the hems first as it takes on a wear pattern unique to you. The second version (vintage indigo) undergoes a light bleach process to bring the indigo down to the most stunning medium blue. Finally, an all new version, one we call the sun fade. It's as if you've owned this garment forever, worn it hard and enjoyed it well. It's an incredibly soft blue.
The finishing touch is taking our dialed in sweatshirt fit and giving at a fresh, slightly more refined look with a shawl collar.
