Our favorite mill in Japan found a vintage 90s flannel in a skate shop and faithfully recreated each detail of the original. The result is a fabric with authentic character and a shirt that simply looks and feels great. The Repro 90's Skater Flannels.
Skater style recreated in Japan. The details make it great. The feel is the first thing that strikes you. Loose, open, flowingly soft. It's as if you've owned it for years, worn it hard, washed it too many times (maybe taken a few spills). Neppy yarns create an organic sense of irregularity as they poke out of the fabric surface. It's a great visual and textural element that you don't often see in most shirt fabrics. The colors really cap the style off - understated, earthy, classic. These are the shirting styles we love - they're a joy to wear and they pair perfectly with denim.
This shirt is sewn up in our new Rugged style. It's designed to be the perfect style for our heavier, more rustic fabrics we run. It's a bit more casual, without being over the top. This style is set off by two key design cues: a perfectly sized collar without buttons and two clean button closures, and rounded chest pockets. These two elements lend the style a more casual look while their clean implementation keeps the shirt versatile. A simpler back yoke replaces the box pleat and locker loop of our Classic style. Intricate stitching tacks down the collar stand. The Rugged style inherits the same core fit block from the updated Classic style. The moment we sewed up some flannels and heavy jacquards in this style we knew it was right.

"I wanted to tell you how much I love the rainbow nep natural t-shirts. After over a year of trying to find my everyday t-shirt, this is finally it. I have four of them now and they are basically all I wear."
